HomeCORA DOLOROSO CAREER CENTRE .... Through the Years....May 18, 2008
1968

This was the Banner Year which marked the conception and birth of a vison: That of providing finishing education available to as many Filipinos as possible. Thus, Cora Doloroso Modelling School (CDMS) was founded with meager facilities housed in a building on Escoda Street, Manila.

CDMS became the toast of Filipinas desiring to have a polishing education. The school attracted society's who's who: movie stars, beauty queens, singers, photographic and ramp models.

1970's

The school continued to gain a steady flow of students and professionals. Then a Banco Filipino executive learned about this "phenomenon" and felt a need for his people to be taught the rudiments of propriety. That was the start of what is now an enviable list of clientele who have benefited the school's expertise.

Meanwhile, drastic changes were taking place in the country's socio-economic landscape -- particulary that of women's role. Women became more aware of their tremendous potentials. Having just a pretty face was no longer enough. Women started "building" lives for themselves. In response to this thrust, CDMS started offering income generating courses. Consequently, CDMS was changed to CORA DOLOROSO CAREER CENTRE (CDCC).

1980

CORA DOLOROSO CAREER CENTRE grew by leaps and bounds with the opening of its head office in Makati (1980) and another one in Cubao in 1984. This was followed by a branch in the University Belt - Recto (1986), Alabang (1988) and Espana (1989).

Its career oriented closed enjoyed tremendous response due to its practicality. Meanwhile, CDCC continued to carve a niche in the corporate communities with its innovative Training Programs for Human Resource Development. Among its patrons include: San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Airlines, Ayala Corporation, Asian Development Bank, Colgate-Palmolive, Del-Monte -- just to name some.

CDCC went international with training programs held in Malaysia and Indonesia.

1990's

The 90's ushered in new challenges to conquer new frontiers with the opening of the Cebu- Branch in 1991. This bold move definitely bolstered CDCC's leadership in the field of Career and Personality Development.

The Cebu branch started in a class of 10 students. Three summers after --- CDCC- Cebu has left an indelible mark in the province's business and academic community, thus, fortyifying its leadership in its class. To date, the branch has successfully graduated thousands of students and professionals whose lives are forever richer and fuller.

On its 28th year, CDCC can lay claim to being on top of the heap. The school, however refuses to rest on its achievements as it seeks to reach greater to heights in the years to come.

In March 1995, another international "door"was opened, this time in Hongkong.

2000's

CDCC has come to its new pace by reengineering itself into the new millenium. We invite you to witness our new look, our new pace...this 2008, its worth it!
